Out Of The Toolbox is a collaborative, open-end collection of and exchange about practical experiences and applied examples of conducting ethnographic fieldwork.It offers a platform to discuss different techniques and tools for doing social research in its methodological diversity and potential (digital, remote, by proxy, face-to-face etc.) by tackling technical, ethical and hands-on methodical issues.It ́s furthermore a collective of researchers who contribute with their practical knowledge, their experiences and context to a wide discussion on research practices.We invite

The University of Cologne is pursuing the aforementioned investigations with due scientific care and thoroughness. If there are clear findings, it also takes appropriate measures, such as the reinstatement in 2005 of academic degrees that had been unlawfully revoked during the Nazi era. Important results of previous investigations are summarized in a separate chapter of the recently published chronicle of the University of Cologne. Initial results of the ongoing investigations were presented to the public and made available last year.
