Cross-Scale Questions: Home Technologies

These questions will be used to help probe texts and generated data to explore the ways in which the phenomenon manifests across scales.

ECO-ATMO: What ecological and climatic conditions situate the use (or non-use) of home technologies? How do domestic technology enhance or reduce residents's capacity to respond to disruption (minor or major)? Electric outage, earthquake, flood?

MESO: Who are the users of home technologies? Who are the non-users? What organizations have stakes in the use or non-use of home tech? What kind of family structure is assumed and/or produced by dominant ideas/constructs of domestic technologies?
