This is ethnogrpahy is about the embedded gendered contradictions to the fratnerity of freemasons in post-Enlightment Europe.

The very concept of freemasons drew my attention because I don't know anything about them and the fact that this study investigate the gendered dynamics of freemasonry made me even more curious. 

A museum exhibition focused on fraternity and secrecy, utilizing images supplemented by captions from Muhmud's monograph. I think it would be a great idea to bring an audience into a world shrouded in secrecy like the freemasons and I also like the idea of appealing to the senses by displaying visual images, audio clips, and even displays that can be touched would be cool too. 

The only thing I would add to the exhibit idea is to hold the exhibition in a building that is currently or formerly constructed and utilized by freemasons in order to embody the experience beyond displays in a museum. It could be a building under protection for historical preservation in order to acquire state or federal funding.
