Critical Commentary
<p>This essay collection is the documentation of a workshop from 2018 of the Hochschule für Bildende Künste Dresden in cooperation with the Museum für Völkerkunde Dresden, the Grassi Museum für Völkerkunde Leipzig and the Völkerkundemuseum Herrnhut. The workshop topic was about the handling of human remains in museum and university collections in the context of the recent post-colonial debate and presents different opinions, proposals for handling and exemplary case studies. The workshop and the essay collection is supported by the german Bundesministerium für Bildung und Forschung. </p>
