Omar Perez: Political Etiology

I really liked the image. The text explanation is very helpful for the reader, although the image is pretty self-explanatory. I really like the juxtaposition of the man on the left getting dialysis with the polluted image on the right. It made me think on how the western world has extracted a lot of resources from Egypt. In a sense I feel that the man is a representation of how capitalism is embedded inside of us, and how is constantly extracting from us. I am very puzzle by the woman on the bottom right. I think because the image is zoom in, I am not able to appreciate the action the young woman was conducting.This image can also be used to reflect how humanitarian aid has been carried out on Africa. The top bottom approach that western nations have taken have force some countries to deepen on this aid, which can be consider another form of toxicity.
